About us
A home-based print lab in London, Ontario, where old-school fun meets new-school tech.
Retro → Modern
Retro to Modern 3D Printing started the way a lot of good things do: with a broken part nobody sold anymore, and a 3D printer that could make a new one. One fix turned into another, then into gifts for friends, cosplay builds and shelves full of pixel-art figures.
The name says it all. We love the chunky charm of classic games and toys, and we use modern printers, materials and design tools to bring that spirit to everyday objects — and to keep the things you already own working longer.
What we make
- Figurines — characters, critters and display pieces

- Toys & fidgets — print-in-place articulated toys and fidgets
- Custom orders — tell us what you need
Shipping & returns
We ship across Canada and to the United States. Shipping options at checkout:
- Standard shipping — Canada — $12.00 (3–8 business days)
- Standard shipping — USA — $18.00 (5–12 business days)
- Local pickup — London, ON (we’ll email you) — free (1–3 business days)
Ready-to-ship items usually leave our lab within 1–3 business days. US orders may be subject to duties or import fees charged by the carrier.
If something arrives damaged or isn’t right, email orders [at] retromodern3d [dot] com within 14 days with a photo and we’ll make it right with a reprint or refund. Custom orders are made just for you, so they can’t be returned unless they’re faulty.
A note on 3D prints
Every piece is printed to order or in small batches, so you may see fine layer lines and tiny variations — that’s part of the handmade character. Prints aren’t food safe unless we say so, and toys with small parts aren’t for children under 3.
